Pay Rate: $19-23 an hour Based on Experience

The Machinist will provide machining services for production and the Technical Services group in support of production and facilities machine repairs and improvements. The Machinist also supports with Development & Application project development for New Product Initiatives.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Performs set up of lathes, mills, grinders, etc. for precision machining operations.
- Performs standard maintenance on lathes, mills, grinders as per schedule.
- Works from drawings, sketches, and measurements to transfer information to proper machine set ups.
- Utilizing machine set up from drawings and sketches, fabricates parts to specifications.
- Works with Maintenance Technicians to identify worn machine parts to fabricate new.
- Assists maintenance technicians in troubleshooting machine malfunctions, providing ideas for improvement.
- Fabricates components in a precision fashion to support proper machine operation.
- Maintains workshop in a clean, orderly fashion in accord with 6S principles.
- Always utilizes correct PPE for general and specialized job functions.
- Perform other duties as required based on business needs.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong welding skills
- Associate s degree or minimum two years of appropriate trade school, or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of one year of demonstrated machining experience.
- Ability to lift 50Lbs on a continuous basis.
