Logistics Coordinator
Location: Chalfont, PA
Industry: Pharmaceutical
Shifts Available: Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 4:30PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour - $23.00/hr
Eligible for pay increase once converted to full-time after 90 days

Job Scope:

Position is responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and on time. Must be able to prioritize to meet expected ship dates and accurately label and pack orders. Also responsible for ensuring that the client maintains its high standard in the industry by shipping correct, quality products to its customers. May be exposed to handling of hazardous materials and have access to extremely confidential information such as sales orders, customers lists and prices, batch sheets, and cost of materials. Position also includes supporting roles with Receiving & Warehousing responsibilities.

Job Duties
  • Unload carriers, perform system receipts and warehouse goods as needed
  • Generate internal working documents and cosign labels.
  • Pack and label finished goods.
  • Create bills of lading and contact carriers, customer logistics groups, 3rd parties.
  • Coordinate freight routing with clients logistics partners.
  • Obtain the best and most efficient freight cost for clients out of scope freight movements with carriers.
  • Handle and communicate all Export logistics arrangements, preparing customs documents and send to appropriate parties.
  • Prepare and distribute Trade Agreements yearly, as requested.
  • Interact with other internal departments on freight related subjects.
  • Work OT to provide necessary process support and Team coverage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, is required, previous shipping/warehouse experience preferred.
  • Associate must have good math & reading comprehension skills, ability to follow instructions, and be detailed oriented.
  • Must possess the physical ability to lift 50 lbs, push/pull up to 1000 lbs.
  • Ability to proficiently operate several types of forklifts.
  • Must successfully obtain and maintain passing grade with IATA/DOT/IMDG
Light Duty:
  • Generate paperwork, such as bill of ladings and labels.
  • Allocate orders, set up trucks and shipments.
  • Data entry, product labeling
