Fossil Fuel Boiler Maintenance Scheduler

Salary: $25-$60/hour DOE

Location: New York City, NY - Must reside within the 5 boroughs

Industry: Defense / Environmental

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fossil fuel boiler maintenance.
  • High School Diploma is required; a technical or 2-year degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 Software is required.
  • Ability to work with multiple calendars, daily and hourly schedules, and to resource load schedules.
  • Experience with boiler tube replacements is highly desired.
  • P6 certification is highly desired.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Strong understanding of CPI (Cost Performance Index), SPI (Schedule Performance Index), and S-Curves is highly desired.
  • Ability to analyze schedules, identify the critical path, and effectively communicate findings both verbally and in writing is required.

Duties:

As a Fossil Fuel Boiler Maintenance Scheduler your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed schedules and cost-loaded schedules essential for capital work related to the construction of major electric, gas, transmission, and facilities projects.
  • Developing and maintaining the Project Schedule throughout the lifecycle of the projects.
  • Providing Project Schedule information to support estimating and cost management activities.
  • Conducting performance reviews for one or more lower-level Project Control Engineers and support personnel.
