Fossil Fuel Boiler Project Manager

Salary: $25-60/hr DOE

Location: New York City, NY - Must live near NYC 5 boroughs

Industry: Defense / Environmental

Schedule: M-F 7AM-4PM

Requirements:

• 10+ years of fossil fuel boiler maintenance experience required
• HS Diploma Required. Technical or 2-year Degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 Software required
• Ability to work with multiple calendars, daily and hourly schedules, and to resource load schedules.
• Experience with boiler tube replacements highly desired
• P6 certification highly desired
• Must be a US Citizen or Perm Resident
• Strong understanding of CPI, SPI, and S-Curves highly desired
• Analysis of schedules, recognition of critical path, and ability to articulate both verbally and written is required.

Duties:

• Preparing detailed schedules and cost loaded schedules, required for capital work being performed for construction of major electric, gas, transmission, and facilities projects.
• Developing and maintains the Project Schedule throughout the lifecycle of the projects
• Provide Project Schedule information to support estimating and cost management activities.
• Provide performance reviews for one or more lower-level Project Control Engineers and support personnel.
