Maintenance Technician

Salary: $20-$25/Hr.

Location: Sarasota, FL

Schedule: M-Th 6am-4:30pm

Employment Type: TEMP Contract ~ 6 months

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience troubleshooting faulty machinery and diagnosing the root cause of the malfunction using diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of building systems, manual dexterity, attention to safety, problem solving, physical fitness, and teamwork.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Due to ITAR requirements, US Citizenship or Permanent Residency are required.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required!

Duties:

• Responding to reports of broken or faulty items, conducting routine inspections of buildings and liaising with external specialists and contractors.
• This is a job for people who excel at working with their hands, spending most of their day on their feet.
• This role will require mechanical maintenance technicians to have a certain level of strength and mobility to support product line moves.
• Collaborating with other mechanical maintenance technicians on day-to-day issues and solving complex mechanical issues.
• Implementing maintenance standard operating procedures based on specific machine knowledge.

Physical Demands: Sitting 15% / Walking 10% / Standing 75% / Lifting 20% (up to 25lbs alone, then with a partner or lift machine)
