- Hours: 2nd Shift - Monday thru Friday - 3pm to 11:10pm - 30 mins lunch.
- Temp to perm: Possibility based on performance.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing operations related to the manufacturing and/or packaging of pharmaceutical products through equipment set-up, operation, clean-up and maintenance in compliance with all regulatory cGMP requirements and company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Able to operate various packaging line equipment and perform material handling responsibilities.
Essential Duties / Functions
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment; follows established safety and PPE standards and supports safe behaviors.
Execute Packaging in accordance with approved documentation.
Respond to alarms in accordance with approved SOP's during packaging operation.
Perform Packaging Equipment, Change Parts and Line Cleaning processes.
Fill out room/equipment logbooks.
Perform cleanliness verification/line clearance on packaging equipment and packaging line.
Maintain area orderly and clean during packaging operation.
Stage/transfer required packaging material and bulk product.
Perform check/verification of packaging components/bulk product in the packaging batch record/protocols as required.
Performs check/verification and required documentation in the packaging batch record/protocols as required.
Stack Finished Goods cases on a pallet, Shrink-wrap the finished goods pallet and transfer the pallet to warehouse.
Provides packaging components and bulk product to various packaging equipment.
Take out all unused/discarded material to warehouse/recycling area.
Able to operate palletizer/Pallet Jack.
Complies with company policies/SOPs/cGMP/DEA/OSHA/EHS requirements.
Position Requirements
1-2 years' experience in FDA regulated packaging environment desired.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience in GMP & GDP is MUST - any amount of time
Documentation practices - possible basic computer skills with email
Perform duties that may require standing, stopping, bending for duration of shift
