Materials Processor Assistant


Salary: $24/hr.

Location: Orlando, FL (100% on-site)

Industry: Government/Defense

Employment Type: Long-term contract with potential for permanent employment


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma REQUIRED
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience using a forklift and/or pallet stacker
  • Prior warehousing experience
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Valid U.S. driver s license
  • Safety shoes will be required
  • Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical
  • Ability to pass a transportation examination
  • Ability to operate a box truck with a gross vehicle weight up to 26,000 lbs. (non-CDL) with 40 lbs. lift gate
  • Ability to obtain clearance

Responsibilities:

  • Support Apache Fire Control (AFC) Depot support facility (DSF) operations in the areas of packaging, handling, storage, transportation, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
  • Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones.
  • Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
