Job Description
Mechanical Engineer
Salary: $40 - $45/hr.
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Duration: 6 month contract to permanent
Industry: Dept. of Defense
Clearance: Active Secret
Qualifications:
B/S in Mechanical Engineering
A minimum of 5 years directly related experience as a Mechanical Engineer with parametric CAD software, preference to SolidWorks
Good computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Duties:
Develops mechanical designs for military training devices, including mechanisms and electro-mechanical devices
Interpret customer design specifications and requirements
SolidWorks, Creo, or other similar design software, utilizing Model Based Definition
Generates technical documentation describing designs, prefer experience with GD&T
Support manufacturing processes and Quality inspection requirements
