Title: Durable Medical Equipment Driver
Work Schedule: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm
Location: Venice FL 34292
Pay: $18/hr.
Employment Type: 3-month contract, extension/perm potential

Position Overview:
Delivering and setting up durable medical equipment for patients while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This position also includes warehouse responsibilities and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and safety.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Deliver and set up medical equipment and supplies, providing instruction to patients and caregivers on basic use and maintenance when necessary.
Collect donated items from patient's homes for distribution to Hospice Resale Shoppe and other locations.
Adhere to company policies, federal, state, and local regulations, including TJC accreditation standards, HIPAA requirements, OSHA, and AHCA standards.
Assist in various warehouse duties, such as cleaning equipment and maintaining stock.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, oxygen manifests, delivery tickets, and all related paperwork.
Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean and orderly.
Follow driver safety guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the DME Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
One year of related experience and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Florida Driver s License with an acceptable driving record as per MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is required.
Basic mechanical skills and good communication skills are required.
Ability to complete routine paperwork.
A willingness to participate in an on-call rotation is required.
