Pay Rate: $24-$26/hr. depending on experience

Environment: Our client is an FDA-registered manufacturer of Towelettes and Alcohol Prep-pads specialized in both food and medical services industries. They work under the FDA, cGMP, CFR-21 and USP standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiology testing for raw materials, in process materials, finished products, stability samples, and purified water system.
• Cleaning and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment such as autoclaves and laminar flow hood.
• Prepare and properly sterilize media and equipment used for microbiological testing.
• Ensure all testing and documentation are conducted under current Good Manufacturing Practices by using established procedures and methods.
• Write and update laboratory standard operating procedures.
• Collect samples of raw materials.
• Perform basic lab functions such as washing dishes, disposing of waste, and general cleaning of the laboratory.
• Perform physical properties and active ingredient testing on in-process and final products as needed.

• Bachelor s or Associate s degree in science field.
• 1 - 3 years of lab work experience. College lab work is okay. Industry experience is preferred.
• Works well independently with minimal supervision but can also work in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, needs to interact well with team members
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
