Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Salary: $59/hr.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
• 1+ year of experience with Modeling and Simulation
• Working knowledge of higher order language, with FORTRAN and/or C programming experience.
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to assimilate large amounts of data, be inquisitive and able to work through problems arising with simulation operation and data reduction.
• Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of missile and fire control system performance against tactical and flight test targets for air and missile defense system program using a complex 6-DOF (Degree of Freedom) simulation
• General mathematical modeling for 6-DOF missile simulations
• Development and maintenance of data reduction and presentation tools
• Reduction of simulation data and development of presentations used in internal and customer briefings.
• Support flight test and range safety analysis to help verify missile workflow through analysis of aerodynamic performance, mass, etc.
