Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field, and 2+ years of experience or equivalent 6+ years of military communications experience.
• Strong experience with IP and ethernet technologies (VLAN, QOS), high speed ethernet, L4-L7 technologies, cloud services, virtualization, Openflow & SDN/NVF.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Ability to obtain OS certification or complete approved related training within 180 days of hire
• Minimum of an IAT level II certification. IAT/IAM level III certification is preferred.
• DoD 8570-compliant (CompTIA Security+ certified)
• Secret Security Clearance

Duties:

• This employer requires all employees, temporary labor, consultants, and contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 25% requirement on-site in Columbia, MD.
• 5G Test Engineer to support new 5G test environment in Columbia, MD.
• Primary technical point of contact for the 5G Test Range to both internal and external customers in this position.
• The individual selected for the position will be working with cutting edge technologies that are still in the R&D phase.
