Location: Philadelphia, PA (Mostly remote. On-site 1 day per week)

Pay: Up to $72/hr.
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret

Summary: Act as an Application DBA creating all necessary Oracle Objects (Tables, Packages, Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, Synonyms, Sequences.) and conduct code reviews to provide full comprehensive database development support to an Application Development team. This is NOT a Systems DBA position.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree highly preferred
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Oracle and PL/SQL experience REQUIRED
• Application Development experience REQUIRED
• Security+ certification or higher REQUIRED
• Ability to commute to DLA NSA Philadelphia base 1 day per week
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance

• Develop new features and enhancements for multiple Defense Logistics Agency systems including performing ongoing database development of new features and enhancements to medical supply and pharmaceutical applications, managing tables, sequences, triggers, indexes, and PL/SQL packages and procedures.
• Architect, Design, Develop and Implement Oracle Database objects and services to support back-end business processes and data interchanges and DOD Web-based Medical Supply Chain focused Business Applications.
• Provide on-site and off-hours user support for Defense Logistics Agency medical supply systems including interface with development and user teams within and across product suites; triage, investigate, and provide resolutions for internally and externally user reported issues.
• Conduct code reviews as part of the Infrastructure team to maintain security posture.
