Principal Software Engineer

Salary: $185k-$198k

Required Qualifications:

• MS Degree and 5+ years of DevSecOps expertise
• Past performance within Special Access Programs
• Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role of a state of the art, information intensive, National Security System (ex. either as gov, industry, SETA, or FFRDC, perform functions of equivalent responsibility to a Chief Engineer of the software segment of an ACAT or equivalent program).
• Experience with C, C++, Java, Oracle databases, and Agile environments

• Serve as the program office subject matter expert on software and information-technology aspects of the program, independently assessing and providing informed guidance on the system developer s technical execution
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience overseeing technical management processes (risk, test, model-based systems engineering/digital engineering, configuration control, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of latest information system technology and development techniques (DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud-based architectures)
• Ability to write, communicate, and present to all levels of leadership and internal team
• Be exceptionally driven and possessive of a demonstrated reputation for providing high-quality work
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working space system acquisition and/or space system development
• Relevant, experience level appropriate, professional certifications (INCOSE, CISSP, DAU, etc.)
