Product and Services Sales Engineer
Location: Houston, TX / Hybrid Schedule, Light Travel
Salary: Up to $80K (Commission as well)

Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in engineering is strongly recommended and/or at least 5 years experience in bulk material handling or in estimated technical proposals.
- Travel: The position will require projects, engineering studies, technical research, and technical exchange related travel, national and international. The estimated amount is approx. 30-40%
- Office software: MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), MS Outlook, SAP Business by Design (will train as required), Salesforce, E3D, AutoCAD or other engineering software
- Engineering experience needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Commensurate process and technical knowledge of food, rubber and plastics processing and compounding and their associated equipment scopes
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to understand business correspondence.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Thrive in a team environment and develop positive working relationships with others.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical advisor and product expert during sales engagements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and engage potential clients, understand their needs, and provide custom product and service recommendations.
- Drive technical presentations, product demonstrations, and support in customer meetings.
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies and account plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Work closely with customers to understand their technical and business requirements.
- Translate customer needs into tailored product configurations and solutions.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including system troubleshooting, implementation guidance, and training as needed.
- Ensure smooth handoff between project execution and sales to better support customer system commissioning.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the company's product and service offerings, including technical specifications, features, and benefits.
- Communicate customer feedback to internal teams to influence product development and improvements.
- Create technical and service proposals.
- Develop and deliver technical sales presentations, case studies, and other materials to support sales efforts.
- Assist in responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFQs (Requests for Quotes).
- Partner with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product capabilities and customer needs.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve product-market fit and optimize go-to market strategies
