Salary: Up to $88/hr.
Location: Grand Prairie, TX (50% hybrid)

Summary: Do you enjoy bringing together data from different sources to be used in a standard work breakdown structure? Are you comfortable evolving models as new data becomes available? If so, an Engineering Cost Modeler role may be the right fit for you! This position requires experience developing complex cost models using advanced cost estimating techniques as well as excellent interpersonal skills required to solicit input, synthesize data, and communicate results to various levels of technical and programmatic leadership.


Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's in Data Science, Math, Operations Research, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in technical field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with an executive audience experienced in Data Visualization.
• Knowledge of data management systems and/or data science.
• At least 1-2 years experience with Python, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), MS SQL, and/or Tableau.
• At least 1-2 years experience in Parametric Estimating / TruePlanning experience.
• At least 1-2 years experience working with cost models, predictive analytics, or decision analysis.
  

• Day to day will require working on affordability analyses, life cycle cost developments, cost data analytics, forecasting cost and schedule, data collection and normalization, and design-to-cost.
• Will need to analyze multiple data sets to build engineering models, synthesize results, perform decision analysis, and communicate findings with engineering colleagues and internal decision makers.
