The Project Engineer will complete and support routine construction execution responsibilities for projects utilizing construction fundamentals and company best practice standards, processes, resources and tools. This position will be responsible for participating in many facets of the construction process such as general construction management, punch lists and executing self-perform work. As Project Engineer, you hold a supporting role in working with our team responsible for the project from inception to close with detailed knowledge of each project phase and process.

End-to-end ownership for technology deployment projects (budget, planning, design, installation, commissioning and qualification, launch support).
Coordinate critical path items, dive deep on technical details and provide innovative solutions to resolve issues.
Assess and communicate project status, escalations on potential risks and delays across multiple teams.
Prepare and conduct weekly standing meetings with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to plan and track deliverables.
Work cross-functionally and influence various teams such as Engineering, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, IT, Procurement and provide feedback to improve deployment efficiency.
Work independently and/or leads a project team that could comprise of project managers, project engineers and contractors.
Ability to develop detailed project schedules incorporating multiple stakeholder needs.
Superior written and verbal communication skills and ability to succinctly summarize key findings.
Maintain a sense of urgency.

Complete punch lists as needed.
Self-perform work as needed.
Is resourceful and creative to achieve cost saving options while maintaining quality.
Ability to locate, qualify and build relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
Minimum Requirements: BS in Engineering or in another Scientific discipline with equivalent experience, with 4+ years hands-on experience with facility equipment, processes, and systems.

Project Management, Process Improvement, Decision Making, Troubleshooting, Project coordination and Management, P&ID reading, CAD or similar engineering software, commissioning and qualification principles, ISO Systems. Proficient computer skills; written & verbal communication skills; proven past experience; multi-tasked; and basic estimating skills. Proficiency using tools like AutoCAD, MS Visio, and industrial automation software. Experience working in environments like manufacturing, warehouses, or construction sites.
