Project Planner

Salary: Up to $60/hr.
Location: Littleton, CO (Hybrid)
Industry: Government/Defense
Employment Type: Long-term contract with potential for permanent employment

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or higher education preferred.
  • 4-5 years of previous planning/scheduling experience.
  • Earned Value Management experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server, Open Plan, Acumen, and One Pager Pro.
  • Ability to perform critical path and risk analyses.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates a willingness to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Past Lockheed Martin Space experience needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions.
  • Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy.
  • Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts.
  • Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statuses.
  • Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response.
  • Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator.
  • Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.
  • Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments.
  • Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.
