Position Overview:
The Proposal Manager will have extensive experience as a corporate Proposal Manager to support the full proposal lifecycle including managing, writing, and coordinating task order and small to large-sized Federal proposal efforts. This position will support the growth objectives for DoD, Federal, Local, State, and Government entities throughout the United States. This position reports to the Chief Growth Officer and will plan and direct all aspects of proposal efforts of approved business opportunities as directed by the Chief Growth Officer. The Proposal Manager will manage day to day activities preparing proposals in response to Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, Sources Sought and coordinating proposal efforts with internal personnel, as well as partnering companies.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for management of the entire proposal lifecycle, including:
  1. Participation in solution development
  2. Development of detailed outlines
  3. Writing assignments
  4. Schedules
  5. Graphics coordination
  6. Color team reviews
  7. Editing/formatting
  8. Coordinating submission of the proposal
  • Monitors status of proposal development related documents for completeness and compliance with RFP requirements.
  • Analyzes government solicitations, identifies response requirements, and prepares unique, tailored, and detailed proposal response outlines, templates, and compliance matrices in compliance with government agency requirements.
  • Must lead the writing teams and ensure proposal timelines are met.
  • Will be the liaison with the capture manager on incorporating strengths and proof points into the proposal.
  • Leads production phase to include final edits, obtaining approvals, and tracking final submission.
  • Responsible for providing training to less experienced members of the writing team. Knowledge and experience with VPC a plus.
  • Experience facilitating status calls, reviews, briefings, and related meetings in a virtual environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills; level headed, calm in deadline driven environments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of experience with a Federal Contractor, or 15 years' experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of ten years related proposal experience with at least six years experience writing technical documentation or proposals for the Federal Government
  • Proven proposal development
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient in the Microsoft 365 suite of tools; Acrobat Pro; Adobe graphics programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint/TEAMS/ Microsoft Visio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative/team environment
  • Ability to work under stress with tight schedule deadlines
