Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree required.
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required; experience with metal machining preferred.
• Experience with JobBOSS would be a big advantage; experience with any ERP systems desired.
• Must have an excellent eye for detail
• Communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job
• Adapt to changing work environment, competing demands, able to deal with frequent change, delays, and unexpected events

Responsibilities:

• Own various general ledger processes to build scalable financial operations.
• Prepare and maintain reconciliations to track the organizations assets, liabilities, and profits.
• This role will play a pivotal role as the company continues to transform into a data-driven organization by partnering with operations, engineering, and senior management to provide timely, relevant, and accurate financial information.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Own monthly inventory valuation process and COGS calculations.
• Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets
• Assist with annual audit preparations.
• Assist other operational groups as needed, primarily the buying and planning group
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting accounting transactions
• Performing activities related to reconciliation of intercompany COGS cost for given entities
• Timely and accurate processing of journal vouchers, price differences clearing
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to: walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, and move continually during work hours; vision abilities, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Lift over 50lbs along with over the head lifting. Personal protective equipment typically required to perform essential functions of the job include ANSI rated metatarsal shoes, safety glasses, and cut-resistant gloves.

Work Environment: The position operates in a manufacturing atmosphere. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to: vibration or works near moving mechanical parts and high, precarious and congested places; exposed to prolonged risk of loud to moderate noise throughout the day.
