Minimum Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical or Automation Engineering, or similar BS degree.
- Three years of experience in structural Engineering
- 5+ years of experience PE for Senior level
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects simultaneously.
- Computer systems AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft office
- Design experience with Motor Control Center (MCC)
- This is not a programming position but experience with the programming of industrial controls is a plus.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also demonstrating leadership qualities and initiative in driving projects forward.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Job Description
- The position at the Design Engineer level entails work including design of building structural components from
foundation to roof framing on buildings ranging from single-story residential projects to high-rise commercial and residential
projects and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection. Building materials include reinforced concrete, masonry,
structural steel, light gauge steel, wood, aluminum, fiberglass, and others from time to time. Review of shop drawings and
construction field observations will also be required.
