Senior Electrical Engineering Manager:

Title: Senior Electrical Engineering Manager
Location: Florence, KY
Industry: Defense
Salary: $125,000 and up based on experience
Employment Type: Direct Placement

Essential Duties:
  • Manages larger team or teams requiring broader expertise
  • Mentors and indirectly influences/leads Engineering Managers Supervises a team of engineers on an activity and completion of activity on time and budget while meeting the applicable technical requirements
  • Completes annual performance review process for themselves and direct reports
  • Supervises a technical group independently
  • Proactively drives leadership sponsored initiatives and guides others in doing so
  • Manages budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments
  • Sets and achieves goals and help direct reports in doing likewise
  • Makes commitments and keeps them
  • Drives the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements
  • Communicates clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
  • Participates in preparation of proposals
  • Supports, communicates, reinforces, and defends the mission, values, and culture of the organization
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards and expect reports to do likewise
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
  • Available for travel as required
Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering from an accredited school required; MS Engineering, PE license or MBA preferred. Minimum of five to seven years of experience leading Electrical Engineering personnel required.
