Schedule: Monday Friday, 8AM-5PM (must be available for on call back up if needed)

Step into a leadership role where clinical excellence meets operational impact. As the Respiratory Therapist Supervisor, you ll oversee a team of clinicians dedicated to providing critical respiratory care and patient support, both in-person and through a high-volume contact center.


This role blends hands-on clinical leadership with operational oversight ensuring patients receive the care they need while supporting staff development, compliance, and performance. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Respiratory Clinicians, ensuring continuous training, compliance, and clinical excellence
  • Oversee a 24/7/365 clinical contact center handling calls, texts, chats, and emails with a focus on responsiveness and quality
  • Conduct chart audits, evaluations, and competency testing to ensure patient care and regulatory compliance
  • Direct onboarding and orientation for new clinicians; provide ongoing education and support
  • Monitor staffing, productivity, and workload distribution across on-site and remote teams
  • Recruit, hire, and develop new clinicians to meet organizational and patient needs
  • Support staff and patients by being available for on-call assignments as needed
  • Analyze performance reports and KPIs, adjusting workflows and strategies to meet service standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure seamless communication and high-quality care delivery
  • Provide first-level support for IT issues impacting the clinical contact center to maintain productivity
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to strengthen both patient experience and team performance
Qualifications:
  • Credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 1+ year of related clinical or supervisory experience
  • Contact center operations experience, ideally with high-volume inbound/outbound calls
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Completion of an accredited program in respiratory care (preferred)
  • Degree in respiratory therapy or related science (preferred)
  • State licensure in home office location; ability to obtain neighboring state licenses if required
  • Background in home respiratory care or Durable/Home Medical Equipment (preferred)
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and charting systems
  • Ability to maintain CEUs as required by state law (minimum of 4 CEUs annually if not mandated)
  • Valid driver s license with clean driving record
