Location: Merritt Island, FL OR Huntsville, AL OR Kent, WA OR Los Angeles, CA OR Phoenix, AZ

Salary: $45-66/hr (Depending on Experience & Location)

Employment Type: 6 month assignment with potential for extension or conversion

Overview:

We are searching for a strong Subcontracts Administrator to join our client s talented team! The successful candidate will develop strategic procurement solutions and complete day-to-day tactical purchasing functions for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team s impact on all aspects of supply chain operations, driving organizational and policy change to enhance the client s bottom-line. You will become a member of the SOW Subcontract Consultant and Professional Services team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related industry experience.
  • 5-8+ years of relevant experience.
  • SOW Consultant experience is required.
  • Experience working on the services side (rather than materials or products) is required.
  • Supplier management and procurement contractual experience is required.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with SOW Subcontractors, subcontracting, Professional Services and related products/services of varying degrees of technical and contractual complexity.
  • Understanding of US Government and non-US Government / Commercial acquisitions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Experience with most Contract Types (Firm-Fixed Price, Time & Material, Cost Plus).
  • Experience preparing and issuing Requests for Proposal, performing cost analysis in support of proposals, and have developed negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations.
  • Experience in constructing various contracting types for major procurement activities to meet the requirements of the programs and needs of the business to include continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of opportunities for enhanced efficiencies.
  • Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics.
  • MUST have strong, top notch people and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Data such as specifications & source control drawings.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload.
  • Track record of working in an ambiguous environment and ability to define processes that can scale.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Duties:

  • Ensure program requirements are appropriately prioritized and implemented to meet the needs of the client.
  • Become competent in the client s Supply Chain compliance standards, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Support the overall procurement organization s strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved to include delivery of production materials that are on time, within budget and meet technical performance requirements.
  • Oversee subcontractor invoices and payments. Handle SOW subcontractor modifications and resolve disputes.
  • Conduct source selection and apply negotiation strategies for contract terms and conditions, milestones, renewal and termination schedules, end of life cycle management, and supplier performance.
  • Maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.
  • Interpret and applies company, policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance.
  • Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.
  • Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
