Systems Engineer
Salary: Up to $72/hr.
Location: Grand Prairie, TX (hybrid less than 50%)
Industry: Government/Defense
Employment Type: Long-term contract with potential for permanent employment
Clearance: Active Secret
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or other STEM degree
- 3+ years working experience in DOORS
- 3+ years Hands-on experience with Cameo
- Broad technical acumen to apply to complex system thinking
- Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs
- Desire to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment
- Active Secret Clearance
- Support the system design and requirements (SDR) through the development, integration and verification activities for integration programs that take the PAC-3 MSE Missile Segment and extend its functionality to other combat systems
- Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS
- Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs
- Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)
